    Prepare Your Materials

    Upload all required materials to the application portal and select the track you intend to apply for. If you prefer email submission, send your materials to ningxinsu@hkust-gz.edu.cn and set the subject line to 'Application-Track-Time-Your Name' (e.g., 'Application-PhD-2025Fall-Zhang San').

    Interviews & Lab Visit

    You will participate in 1–3 interviews and an optional virtual or on-site lab visit.

    Format varies by track.

    Offer & Onboarding

    After receiving an offer, you will work with the lab to plan your first 90 days and join ongoing research projects.

    Onboarding starts immediately after joining.
